React, .Net, Java, Python, Azure, AWS, Terraform, the list seems endless. Very often we see a list of tools, be that in a job ad, in an assignment description, a jira task, or even in your own job title. The fact of the matter is that you should not be defined by tools. As developer or engineer you are not defined by your tools, you are defined by your ability and attitude, your job is to solve problems, not to check of a checklist. Lets have a candid conversation about how we can challenge the norms and return to the basics, actually solving problems, rather than inventing them to fit a predefined solution. Lets get into a postition where we can qoute Nick Fury "I recognise that the Council has made a decision. But given that it’s a stupid-ass decision, I’ve elected to ignore it"
