“There is a whole load of stuff in life that is worth documenting. You see it every day but don’t even notice.” – Jan Chipchase This talk is a journey through global snapshots taken during my travels — everyday moments, improvised solutions, and cultural clues that reveal the hidden brilliance in how people solve problems. Each photo will be analyzed live with the audience to uncover what’s happening, what’s missing, and how we could design better with the help of digital tools or small design tweaks. Using the lens of anthropology, I’ll share how observing people in context — and paying attention to the subtle, overlooked details — can inspire more thoughtful and practical design ideas. It’s not about academic theory, but about learning to look at the world differently. My goal? I want the audience to leave with a new habit: to observe more, document more, and be curious about what’s hidden in plain sight. You’ll start seeing opportunities for creativity everywhere — even in the ordinary — and that’s where the real design magic begins.
